The Murugan Temple Calendar is published by dedicated volunteers as a service to our temple and its devotees. We have taken extensive effort to make sure that all the timings listed in this Calendar are accurate, and the timings are for Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Time Zone. Since most of the Special Abishekams (for Sankatahara Chathurthi, Krithigai, etc.) are performed in the evenings at our Temple, days are picked in such a way that the "Tithi" and "Nakshatra" (star) continue during these Abishekam times.
